Jean Henri Gaston Giraud (8 May 1938 – 10 March 2012) was a French comics artist, working in the French tradition. So sad that he has stept out of time.

Giraud, also known as Moebius, was a great artist. as you can see from this French tv show. Here you watch him as he draw together with other artist and having fun.
Moebius achieved a monumental screen triumph with his design work on the 1997 film, THE FIFTH ELEMENT. His work on Lieutenant Blueberry continued uninterrupted for the next 12 years. His work THE AIRTIGHT GARAGE and The Inkal is a must read.
